We search all major patent databases including Indian Patent Office (InPASS), USPTO (full text and PAIR), EPO (Espacenet), WIPO (PatentScope), Google Patents, and relevant non-patent literature such as IEEE, PubMed, and Google Scholar.
No search can guarantee grant because the Patent Examiner may identify additional prior art or raise objections on other grounds such as Section 3 exclusions (non-patentable subject matter). However, a thorough search significantly reduces the risk of unexpected rejections.
